Topography and Drainage
The Metropolis has a varied landscape with an eroded coastline, a low-lying central area, undulating ridges, and hills. It is fairly watered with trellis drainage patterns. The main rivers are Whin and Kansawora, and the lagoons are Essei and Butre. The Atlantic Ocean provides food, jobs, and recreational facilities, extending from New Amanful to Essipon, especially during festive occasions. The generally undulating with ridges and hills landscape of the metropolis portrays a naturally formed and expansive scenery with a potential for the hospitality industry. The forest areas in the north east of the metropolis also holds a great potential for the wood and construction industry. The natural landscape is made up of the capes, bays, low-lying central area, ridges, and hills coupled with tourist sites including the Monkey Hill, Premier Harbour and Colonial Forts.
