Climate
The Municipality experiences semi-equatorial climate conditions. It is distinguished by its double maxima rainfall. The first significant rainy season lasts from March through July. The second round of the rainy season begins in September and lasts until November. The yearly rainfall ranges from 1600 to 1800 mm on average. Its temperature ranges from 32°C in March to 20°C in August. During the rainy season, relative humidity is high but yet somewhat moderate. Relative humidity is fairly moderate but high during the rainy season. It ranges between 70 and 80 percent. Throughout the Municipality, the Rainfall and temperature regime are favorable for the production of numerous food crops and rainfall patterns facilitate the development of numerous food crops.
